Hi there dear Empaness supporters and gemstone jewellery fanatics
Nothing this week on gemstones in particular - I’ve been very busy because:
I’m excited to announce the launch of a recycled jewellery collection on Empaness !

Recycling is the 2019 name of the game . With a sharp eye on quality and beauty, I am seeking out old and perhaps unfashionable pieces, and then taking them apart to produce new eye-catching, luxurious, fashionable or whimsical pieces that any woman would be wildly keen to wear. Not everything in the range is recycled - I often combine the old with the new to stunning effect.
Perhaps it’s the gemstone that comes from a previously owned piece, I then mix with new silver findings or a new chain, or perhaps the chain or the base are older, it just depends on what creative opportunity I see hidden in the several parts.
I love searching Op shops for hidden treasures to find. Especially Op shops in Byron Bay, Tugan, Burleigh Heads and Tweed Heads are some of my favourites.
