Julie's Friday Crystal Ball 31 May 2019

Hi there dear Empaness supporters and gemstone jewellery fanatics

Hope everyone is well this week - its getting a bit chilly here now but I’m glad to be back home in Coolangatta. Love the sunshine.

Speaking of sunshine, lets take a look at the lovely Montana Agate. Montana Agate is a light yellow (or brown) to nearly clear coloured gemstone of warmth and beauty. Lets have a brief look at this lovely agate (agate is a chalcedony based gemstone):

Montana Agate is made of chalcedony, which is a crystalline form of silica, made of very fine quartz and a silicon based mineral. Montana Agate was originally found in the Yellowstone River in the state of Montana, USA. it was formed due to volcanic activity in the Pleistocene era (Ice Age). Iron oxide inclusions give the agate its red colouration and the presence of manganese oxide produces black coloration or banding.

This agate has a strong connection to the earth and nature. It is a balancing crystal - helping with emotional balance by correcting left-right brain imbalance [Judy Hall]. And also balances our energies.

It is also said by many sources to be anti-inflammatory and cleansing to the circulation and elimination systems.

Montana Agate combines well with Green Aventurine or Green Amethyst.

It can be used to increase the level of prosperity and abundance in your life I have read in a number of sources !

You can combine it with gemstones such as Labradorite or Yellow Citrine.

It is a hard stone and cannot be scratched quite easily. Real Montana Agates usually feels warm during cold season and cool during the hot season.

I love its warm and nourishing properties - there are many other affects of this agate to your well -being that I have not mentioned in this brief description !

This week’s news from Julie’s craft bench:

As I mentioned, I’m back from Sydney and home to Coolangatta. My Sydney stay is why I haven’t been doing many Facebook post’s or new creations. But now I’m back at the bench and back to work. I have some new gemstones to start working on. Some of these are Frosted Madagascar Agate, Arizona coloured Howlite and Rhodolite. So keep a look out for these new pieces and our exciting sale we will be launching soon.

Remember the rewards program we have on the homepage for referring or purchasing - go take a look on the top right hand corner of the page.
