Hi there dear Empaness supporters and gemstone jewellery fanatics

 

Happy Valentines Day for yesterday everyone ! Today is busy for me so this weeks blog is going to be brief. 

(No one is really sure of the exact origin of Valentine’Day though the Catholic Church recognises at least three different saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of whom were martyred, so it sounds like it can only be a dark story !)

 

 Gemstone musings

  

Here are five crystals particularly suited to Valentine’s Day:

 

Rose Quartz 

The perfect match to all things love related - have a read through last week’s blog for more on this  beautiful pink stone.

 

Moonstone

The stone of intuition and opens the mind to serendipity. 

Green Aventurine

It is known to attract luck and success and helps you assess alternatives and possibilities, especially those presented by other people.

Garnet

Inspires love and devotion. Stimulates the controlled rise of kundalini and sexual energy.

 

Carnelian:

Carnelian has the power to improve and strengthen parent-child relationships by restoring or protecting love and trust. Consider this gift for your mother or daughter, especially after a rocky or emotional patch.

This week’s news from Julie’s craft bench:

 This week I’ve been sending out orders mainly. I have decided to do a special sale on my beautiful pearls collection. I would like to get them out there faster so have decided to offer 50% off for ten days- so have been preparing for this since I plan to start it tomorrow.
